Earn CE contact hours at the Neuro-APP Symposium

All CE contact hours are subject to change as the Neuro-APP Symposium approaches.

ANCC Accredited with Distinction NCPD Logo purpleThe American Association of Neuroscience Nurses is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

The American Association of Neuroscience Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CEP:13331)

Be aware of your own state board of nursing's continuing education requirements, especially if you live in a state where continuing education is mandatory. Attendees can earn 1 nursing contact hour for every 60 minutes of educational content by attending the session(s) or viewing the recording(s) and completing and submitting evaluation forms by April 17, 2024. The total number of contact hours that can be earned are as follows:

CE Contact Hours for 2024 Conference Posters and Sessions

  • 0.8 CE contact hours for evaluating 4 posters (each poster evaluation is worth 0.2 CE contact hours)
  • 7 CE contact hours for the entire conference (excluding posters, pre-conference sessions, keynote, and invited speaker)

Conference Learning Outcomes

As a result of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss emerging guidelines and treatment modalities for a variety of neuroscience conditions that affect adult and pediatric populations.
  2. Describe diagnostic testing strategies and therapies and their application into clinical practice.
  3. Analyze pharmacologic interventions to bedside clinical practice.
  4. Network professionally with other Neuroscience Advanced Practice Providers.
  5. Establish a dynamic learning forum to inspire professional development.
  6. Describe techniques to facilitate communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
