Join us on August 18, 2021 from 3-4pm CT for this live webinar, presented by the members of the AANN Neuroassessment Task Force. This webinar will discuss the importance of developing a standard neurological assessment for the adult hospitalized patient that can be used by nurses from all specialties. Neurological changes can be subtle, yet by using keen assessment skills the nurse can detect these changes and intervene to prevent further deterioration. Task force members will describe the process of developing a white paper and how they came to a consensus on the areas of focus.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Nurses will self-report an increase in knowledge about performing a neurological assessment of the adult hospitalized patient.
2. Nurses will self-report the rationale for performing a neurological assessment on the adult hospitalized patient.
