Jefferson is proud to be a licensed provider for The Society of Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM) internationally recognized Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).
FCCS training prepares non-intensivists, nurses, house staff, and other critical care practitioners for the preliminary evaluation, stabilization and management of critically ill or injured patients until a transfer or expert consultation can be organized.
This standardized two day course combines didactic lectures with case-based skills stations. Participants will gain knowledge and skills in:
Small group stations are a hallmark of FCCS training, so space is limited!
FCCS certificates are valid for four years. If you attended an FCCS course in 2015 or prior, you may need to renew your certification.
This course is designed for intensivists as well as non-intensivists physicians, nurses, house staff and other critical care practitioners.
