AANN Webinar: How to Publish Your Peer-Reviewed Manuscript

In this free webinar presented by DaiWai Olson, PhD RN CCRN FNCS, participants will be provided with actionable steps to participate in professional publication. Across the board, nurses have great ideas, great projects, and great research, but too few have been instructed on how to disseminate those ideas, projects, and research with the scientific community at large. In this session, we will share steps, tips, and secrets about how to navigate the peer review process from submission through successful response to reviews.

Learning Outcomes:

Demonstrate an understanding of the term “peer review”
Identify at least two sources of finding journals that accept peer-review nursing centered content
Identify where to find the instructions for authors
List the critical steps from submission to publication including peer-review process
Identify at least two methods of creating a comprehensive response-to-reviews form

Participants can receive 1 CE credit for attending the webinar and completing the evaluation. The recording for this webinar will be available for free after the live webinar.
