The American Board of Neuroscience Nursing (ABNN) is an independent, not-for-profit corporation established under the AANN to design, implement, and evaluate neuroscience certifications for professional nurses within the field. This webinar, presented by Marianne Beare Vyas, PhD RN ANP-BC, will describe the benefits to nurses, patients, and administrators of having every neuroscience patient cared for by a certified nurse. We will describe the CNRN and SCRN certifications, the process for application, testing and obtaining certification. This webinar will also describe how tests are created, stay current, and the role of the ABNN. Through this webinar, hospitals and leadership will be able to identify benefits to certification as well as ways to recognize and promote certification at their facility.
