40th Annual Barrow Neuroscience Nursing Symposium

Description: This symposium will highlight neuroscience nursing as a caring science, through innovation, education, and research. Participants will celebrate 40 years of neuroscience nursing while learning from experts in the field. In addition to featuring the best in nursing care of the past and present, this course will explore the implications for our future. This will include addressing organized approaches to the detailed planning, interventions and complexity of the neuroscience patient, family and caregivers. Presentations will include correlative 3D review of neuroanatomy, strengthening resilience, translation of cutting-edge research to bedside care, and international nursing innovations. Participants will come away with evidence-based care strategies and innovations to optimize patient outcomes through achievement in nursing excellence.
